SPLOP! is a physics puzzle game developed by Jose Luis Querido Chica. This policy explains what data the app handles and what happens to it. The short version: the app has no servers of its own and your game data stays on your device. What leaves it is your scores, sent to Apple's Game Center and only if you are signed in (section 2), and, from version 1.1, what Google processes to serve ads (section 4).
SPLOP! stores the following in local device storage, and nowhere else:
None of this is sent anywhere: the app has no servers of its own. The exceptions are the Game Center scores in section 2 and what Google processes when serving an ad (section 4). Everything stored on the device is deleted when you uninstall the app.
If you are signed in to Game Center, Apple's gaming service, at the end of each game SPLOP! sends it your score and, in SPLOP! Classic, the difficulty reached. When the game opens, it also sends the best scores already saved on your device. Game Center shows them on the leaderboards with your Game Center nickname, where other players can see them.
SPLOP! does not receive or store this data: Apple handles it under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not appear on the leaderboards, sign out of Game Center in your device Settings: the game works just the same.
If tilt or shake is turned on, the app reads the device's motion sensors to move the pieces while you play. That data is used on the spot, on the device, and is never stored or sent. You can turn both options off in Settings → Controls.
From version 1.1 (version 1.0 has none), SPLOP! shows Google AdMob ads, always outside the game and never while you play:
The app is flagged to Google as directed to children. This means:
The "No ads" purchase permanently removes the ads between games. The ad to continue a game stays available, because it only plays if you ask for it.
The "No ads" purchase is a one-time payment handled by Apple through the App Store: we never receive or store your payment details. It can be restored on any device with the same account from Settings → Ads → Restore purchases. It unlocks no content: the full game is free.
SPLOP! is suitable for all audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from any user, regardless of age. Ads are flagged as directed to children (section 4). Game Center is optional and run by Apple, with its own parental controls.
Because the game data lives on your device and under your control, you can exercise your rights directly: settings are visible and editable in the app, and uninstalling it removes everything stored. Scores sent to Game Center belong to your Game Center account and are handled by Apple. There are no personalized ads to object to; the "No ads" purchase removes the ads between games, and for what Google processes when serving an ad, its privacy policy explains how to exercise your rights with Google.
If the policy changes, the date in the header will be updated.
