Something not working, or a question? Write to jlq.software@gmail.com and I will get back to you. For a bug, it helps a lot to know your iPhone or iPad model, the iOS version and the game version (shown at the bottom of Settings and at the end of Help).
Shoot a piece and it splits into two twins; three alike (same size and colour) that touch each other vanish. Keep the pile from crossing the line. In the menu, Help explains the rules and the weapons, and Watch the video shows it in 30 seconds.
Classic is turn based: every shot counts and you progress through difficulties. Rain is real time: balls keep falling and you have to break them before the pile reaches the line.
Hold the cannon for a moment (a ring fills around it) and drag it anywhere on the board. Away from the walls it shoots in every direction; against a wall, that wall is the limit.
Swipe left or right on the cannon: the selector opens with the weapons you have won. You can also tap an icon in the cannon's row.
When it is red, the game picks the best weapon for you at every moment. If you pick a weapon yourself, it turns off.
While aiming, move your finger back to the cannon and release it there: no shot is fired.
Yes: in Settings → Controls you can turn tilt and shake off.
Yes, in SPLOP! Classic: Settings → Difficulty lists every difficulty you have reached.
From 1 October to 7 November, with the world set to "Random every game", the game wears its Halloween theme. To play in another world, pick it in Settings → World.
In the menu, Rankings opens the Game Center leaderboards: the best score in each mode, this week's best and the highest difficulty in SPLOP! Classic. At the end of a game, See ranking opens the one for the mode you just played.
You need to be signed in to Game Center (device Settings → Game Center) and online. When the game opens with Game Center signed in, it also sends the best scores already saved on your device. Weekly leaderboards start from zero every week.
No. Best scores, difficulties and settings live only on your device, and uninstalling the app deletes them completely. There is no cloud backup and no user account. Whatever you already sent to Game Center stays on its leaderboards.
Settings → Language lets you pick Spanish or English. The change is immediate.
From version 1.1, never while you play. Now and then one appears when you leave the game-over screen ("Play again" or "Main menu"): none in your first games and, after that, at most one every three games, with several minutes between two. None after a very short game.
Your second chance: when you lose, you can watch an ad and the game goes on without the pieces that were over the line (in SPLOP! Rain, also with a few seconds without new balls). Once per game, and only if you ask for it.
With the "No ads" purchase in Settings → Ads: a one-time payment that permanently removes the ads between games. The second chance stays available, because it only plays if you ask for it. The full game stays free; the purchase unlocks nothing else. If you switch devices, use "Restore purchases" with the same Apple ID.
Check that you are signed in with the Apple ID you used to buy it and tap "Restore purchases" in Settings → Ads. If they still appear, write to me.
No. The whole game works offline. A connection is only needed for the Game Center leaderboards (best scores you make offline reach them the next time you open the game online) and for ads: offline there are none, and no second chance either.
Check in Settings → Sound that music and effects are on and their volume is up. The game plays even when the iPhone is in silent mode.
Yes. It collects no personal data. The app is flagged as directed to children: ads are always non-personalized and rated for all audiences, and they never appear during a game. The "No ads" purchase is handled by Apple, with its parental controls. The leaderboards belong to Apple's Game Center and are optional.
